And yes, not only will I begin a sentence with “and,” I will acknowledge that my updates have been delinquent. Many, many exciting things have happened since the very successful screening in Buffalo, NY on October 21.
So, what did people say about Vlog? Pat Ward of Ellisburg, NY said, “Well, it was better than New Moon.” I realize that such a compliment would be greater coming from, say, a seventeen year old girl, but you can take that as you will. It is, however, indisputably ironic, as Vlog’s poster was featured next to New Moon’s at the Market Arcade theatre in Downtown Buffalo. So go ahead and eat your heart out, K-Stew, R-Patz, and T-Laut!

Most exciting of all, Vlog’s YouTube channel is finally up and running, so you can watch, rate, and subscribe! A new episode of “Lauren’s Daily Rant,” starring the illustrious Danni Lang, will be posted weekly starting tomorrow, January 5. That probably sounds like a contradiction. But go easy on us. ”Lauren’s Daily Rant” is conceptual, not literal, and it’s shot in HD on a green screen, which automatically makes it more awesome than any real vlog. For now, check out the Restaurant scene, shot on location at Merge, and featuring Erin Doyle and Tommy Wright.
We’ve also begun the process of sending Vlog out to festivals. Updates will be posted more frequently from here on out!
